FINANCIAL ACCOUNTABILITY
1.For
the past 18 years Project Christ India, since its
inception, the Accounts are maintained in a double
entry system.
2.Each transaction is being scrutinized by the competent
Accountant and supported with documentary evidence,
which is transparent.
3. The financial position shall be reviewed in every
Executive Committee meeting in every three months.
4. PCI is a Registered Society under Society Registration
Act. Since PCI is a charitable institution, it has
registered with Income Tax Department and all its
income is exempted from the Tax U/S 12(A) of Income
Tax Act 1961. PCI accounts are audited by a Chartered
Accountant every year and being submitted to the Income
Tax department for Assessment.
5.PCI is also registered with the Ministry of Home
Affairs under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act
1976, which has allotted FCRA No. 010230196 to receive
grants from donors to a designated Bank Account.
6.Every year as per the Act, the FC3 is being sent
to the Ministry of Home Affairs duly audited by a
Chartered Accountant with his report.
7.PCI is doing all the requirements as per the government
